On 6 June, in Costa Rica, the event focused on Digital Signature took place in San José to announce the partnership between Bit4id, NXP, the national support center for digital signature (Netcom) and the local provider IT Security Services.
The meeting focused on three main topics: compliance with the regulation, cost cutting plans and mobility. More than 80 delegates of public administrations and banking sector attended the event to discover new uses for smart cards and to discuss the national regulation about digital signature.
During the event, Bit4id presented its new Kit for Mobile Digital Signature. Juan Carlos Valero, Bit4id CCO, and Javier González, Partner Manager, signed a document with digital signature on smartphone for the first time in Costa Rica. They did it using the smart card reader miniLector Blue and the DigitalDNA app, developed to sign with the new NXP certified cryptographic smart cards. All the solution developed by Bit4id use technologies able to ensure maximum security and privacy.
