Bit4id presents its innovative solutions in the second edition of the Forum taking place in Tunis

Bit4id is attending the second edition of the «Interregional Standardization Forum for PKI & e-Trust», the event organized by the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) taking place today and tomorrow, 4th and 5th April 2019, at the Regency Hotel, Tunis. It will be an opportunity to strengthen the ongoing debate between all stakeholders in the field of PKI and e-trust.

Bit4id attends the event represented by Marco Scognamiglio, Digital Identity and PKI – Marketing product manager, Claudio Cimmelli, Chief Sales Officer and Jassine Boulkheir, International Sales Manager. This morning, during the speech titled “PKI AS A SERVICE: The New era of Trusted Services Providers”, Jassine Boulkheir presented the company and its innovative solutions such as DigitalDNA, the wearable solution for digital identity, extremely safe and easy to use. Then Marco Scognamiglio presented the project PKI as a service by Uanataca, Bit4id’s Trust Service Provider: the project as a service is the right choice in those countries where initial investments in infrastructures can be on obstacle.

In the afternoon, during the session “PKI and ID on Mobile: Transition from Mobile First to Mobile Only”, Claudio Cimmelli will show how to use digital signature in different business scenarios, then he will go on presenting Signing Today and explaining how to sign documents with the mobile app. Signing Today is the online service realized by Bit4id to digitize document flows.

The Forum is organized under the patronage of the Tunisian Ministry of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy and in partnership with the National Digital Certification Agency (TunTrust), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the African Telecommunication Union (ATU). The event will focus on:

  • Opening a high level interregional dialogue about e-trust services and the key role of national e-certification authorities in building trustworthy digital societies;
  • Paving the way towards the interoperability and mutual recognition of e-trust services between different countries;
  • Boosting the interregional cooperation in the field of e-trust to coordinate efforts and come up with technical solutions and regulatory approaches to combat the growth of cyber threats.
