Eight students completed the Academy and will have the opportunity to join Bit4id
The first edition of the Python Web Engineer Academy, the free course aimed to train young IT talents, has ended.
The Academy organized by Bit4id started on 7 January 2019 and it lasted seven weeks; the participants learned how to project and implement distributed systems. Following a practical approach, they started from simple programs in Python and arrived to scalable architectures based on docker.
The training activities included a theoretical session with Corrado Aaron Visaggio, professor at University of Sannio. During the course, the R&D director and some Bit4id developers supervised practice exercises. The main topics debated were:
- Web services with Docker, Docker-compose and Python (backend trail)
- Design system for front-end with Sketch and Sass
- IT security and digital identity
Classes took place in a classroom arranged with the best technological equipment. At the end of the course, participants took an exam to test the knowledge and skills acquired at the Academy. The eight students who passed the exam received a certificate of attendance and the CISCO Python Essentials certificate.
Antonio Chello, Bit4id CEO, congratulated with all the participants for their dedication. Now that the Academy has ended, the best students will have the opportunity to join Bit4id.
